What We Believe

We are a welcoming and loving congregation, committed to working as the hands and feet of Christ here on Earth.

Our Mission Statement

This church does not exist for itself, but for the sake of the world, for which Christ lived, loved and died. We strive to be partners in Christ’s work and pray that what we do in worship, study and fellowship helps to equip us to serve the world in all its brokenness and need.

As a congregation, we believe all people are God’s children created in God's image. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. No human has the right to judge others on how they love, live, or worship.  We believe all people will thrive when God’s children accept one another.

All are welcome regardless of age, economic status, race, gender,  nationality, faith, ability, or sexual orientation. We work, albeit imperfectly and with much to learn, for a world where, as the prophet Amos proclaimed,  “justice [will] roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”
